It’s been a great year for me too! I baptized my first family! A couple and their brother. Nothing too huge to report. But I do have another funny dog story: we were knocking doors and I called out ¨Buenas tardes!¨ and a dog came running out of the house and up to the fence. It barked once and proceeded to lift his leg and try to pee on me. Luckily I was watching it and dodged the pee. My shoes are still pee free.

Other than that the whole new year’s thing was about the same as it was for Christmas. No one outside and no appointments. But we still baptized. This month is the month of repentance because we only baptized 132 in December, and that is our lowest number for years and years. hahah.
After the baptism we went to their house and made baleadas (the traditional food of Honduras), and I bought a huge cake! It was only 7 dollars... so everything is way chill here.
